Visuals — Privacy Policy

Visuals is a local-first media browser for macOS. Your privacy is fundamental to how the app works.

What Visuals does not do

• Visuals does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
• Visuals does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
• Visuals does not have a server or user accounts.
• Visuals does not share any information with third parties.

Where your data lives

All media and library information is stored locally on your device and, if you choose, in your personal iCloud. Your data remains under your control at all times.

iCloud

If you enable iCloud for your media folders, files sync via Apple’s iCloud service under your Apple ID. Visuals has no access to or visibility into that sync — it is handled entirely by macOS and Apple. See Apple’s privacy policy for how iCloud handles your data: apple.com/legal/privacy

In-app purchases

Visuals offers an optional Pro subscription handled by Apple’s App Store. Visuals does not receive or store any payment information. All purchase and subscription data is managed by Apple. See Apple’s privacy policy for details.

Future changes

If a future version of Visuals begins to collect any data (for example, opt-in crash reporting or anonymised usage statistics), this policy will be updated and the change will be clearly communicated in the app before any data is collected.
